I am in Ontario, and 19 right now currently in University leaning towards a degree in criminal justice. I have a couple of questions concerning military firefighting.
If I want to join the forces and become a firefighter, do I still need to go to firefighting school/get my DZ license, and which one school is best? TEEX is a big one, but any others)? Or would going to firefighting school just increase my chances of getting in (so I could start applying now). If not, does it sound right to go to firefighting school after the upcoming school year (between year 2 and 3) so I could start applying then, but continue school for the last couple years if i don't get in.
