Looked at three different sites today, and found three different renditions of the badge:

This is army.ca's site. The badge illustrated does not match the amorial description

This is the web site of the Regimental Rogue. Note the difference between the photo of the badge and the official rendition in the Public Register of Arms, Flags and Badges contained on the Governor General's website

The first two show the badge in use before the regiment was redesignated "Royal".  Was there another point to this?

I clicked on the graphic on the GG's site and it was quite good and had more textual descriptions.  Or are you looking for a good photo of an actual badge?

I'm looking for an actual photo.  I'd rather present what the troops are actually wearing, which can sometimes vary from the strict armorial description and the approved drawings.

Quite a few badge collectors on my site, as you know - a post there might find you some joy, though the badge is quite current. I unfortuantely know of no one personally who has that one, but one of the vets on my board might, if no one here can provide one.

Thank Mike.  I've already had one instance of a unit contacting me because "the CO" wanted the badge photo I had posted switched for their preferred line drawing.  I still haven't heard back from them on a request for a current badge photo.
