CBC's actually been impressing me lately. They had a great segment last night commenting on how the violence has curbed downwards, and briefly touching on the progress of the reconstruction programs.

Also last night was a story on the four valour medal recipients, and on the new CF programs recognizing the needs of the parents of soldiers in terms of supporting the families...
CBC as a whole might be right out to lunch some days, but Mansbridge has his stuff together and is showing Canadians some excellent coverage of what else is going on over there.
