They were only hiring 34 for the year as far as I was told. Low numbers for the Navy ops overall with 54 NCI ops and 17 NES ops. These numbers were as of July 01 2012 though. Do you know how many per QL3 course are the norm?

I agree with Chrispi, and I am also going to be starting bmq in around 2 weeks. There is no way id bring my laptop. I feel there is going to be enough to clean, practice and study that makes a laptop a bmq honestly ridiculous. If you can't last a day without checking your facebook then stay...

That is why I started the reply off with "Opinion". I was under the impression the OP was looking for different view points, not to mention the title of the thread "Job offered, and would like to hear some opinions". I simply gave the summary of my situation as an opinion, because although I was...
Personally my opinion is to ditch the girl you are not married, I was with a women for 3 years and when I applied (around 7 months ago) she said I had to choose her or the job that would have me gone from home a lot. Personally it was an easy choice it was basically trading my future for hers...

You will get to give your preferred place to live based off of the areas that the regiments are. For you for infantry I'm pretty sure it would be between alberta (Princess pats) ontario (RCR) or Quebec (Vandoos). In reality you will go where the CF needs you and you will have to suck it up there...
I haven't received any notification from the local RC's yet in regards to receiving my application and to be honest it would be either windsor or lodnon ontario because I live right smack dab in between the two. Ill give them both a call tomorrow to make sure though just in case.
Thanks.

I've been told I have to wait until my application is transferred from the CFNRCC to my local recruiting center before I will be able to get anything progressed even if my trades are processing. And of course in order to proceed to the point of further processing you must qualify for a trade...
I just got off the phone with a recruiter and wanted to double check the nature of my earlier assumptions, and make sure I didn't give any false information. It is true that the RC tries to give you your first choice (so there is some order value) but lets say for example, recruit A is applying...
Every recruiter I have spoken to about this subject at both the National recruiting center in north bay and in London Ontario have told me the order is of no consequence. I would give you the names of every recruiter in order but for fear of having their email filled with the same question over...
It seems that most to all of your questions can be answered by using the search bar function.
If you still find that you have questions pertaining to recruitment I suggest calling your local RC.
Staying in good contact with your RC goes leaps and bounds during your recruitment process, take it...
