Whoa wait, they're taking the Arrow out of storage in NDP HQ's basement?!?!? :o With the No Defence Plan party behind them, they'll be flying in no time! But seriously, best overall buy is the plane we won't have to replace in 10-15 years and be at this point AGAIN. Too bad the...
I can definitely vouch for the one on Base Edmonton. I'm a regular there every morning 0530 just before I start my dispatch duty. Worst one I've seen is on 82nd Street just before the Yellowhead. They barely understand/speak english, (I understand it's the best available job to them, just try to...
Seems way to shady. Got a feeling this is just an overly liberal, CF bashing set of people trying to take away what our brothers and sisters are sacraficing in Afghanistan. Being on CFB Edmonton, there are a whole lot of soldiers ready and willing to go. A whole lot just got back over the last...
I totally agree with the PROVEN capabilities but again for the CF to get the best plane and bang for the dollar with the help of the free trade agreement with the states it would be a good idea to include the super hornet in the wish list.... i know you didnt prefer a single engine aircraft but...
Having a free trade agreement with the US will make purchasing ANY aircraft from them more affrodable than any European platform.... And not to mention the cost of shipping parts from europe alone... not a bad idea those are great aircraft but the Typhoon is listed as 90million british pounds...

its funny you say that but its so true about what i posted... it must be hard for aviation freaks to think that someone in the army doesnt have an interest in aviation... but i guess some people are too ignorant to be open minded... what a shame eh???
and yes i did and people were still asking why not F-22... and as for the price of the F-35, depending on model and quantity ordered each unit would cost between 35-50 million not including parts and other contracts through Lockheed-Martin... The F/A-18E/F Super Hornet would be a better buy...
by the way us congress wont allow the sale of the f22 because of the advanced technology used in the stealth materials and avionics... so the sale to any foreigncountry would be illegal on the manufacturers part and any contract to do so void... but the F-35 or the F/A-18 E/F super hornet would...
