Not necessarily. Last year a girl form my corps who was 16 went to basic and she's been in cadets just as long as me and I'm younger than her.

Sgt. Dargie: My sister would like kill herself if she missed the wedding. I'm sure she would pass the course even if she went to the wedding cause she'd only be gone one day.

I'm not on a drill team but my sister is. She is on the silent rifle/drill team. They practice Wednesday nights from 7-9(2 hours) and Saturday mornings 9-12(3 hours). The team I am on at my corps practices the same time as the silent rifle/drill team.

Would D&C boost self confidence just as much as adventure would? My ex-MWO has told me I should go to adventure because it would boost my self confidence and she personally wouldn't want to stand on a parade square all day in the blazing sun. I don't think she ever went to D&C though.

Since a wedding is a valid reason for missing a battalion parade would it be a valid reason for a course cadet doing the 2 week course?

GGHG_Cadet you sound like you've been to camp more than one summer so how important are the battalion parades? I've got to go to a wedding too and my parents would probably pick me up early saturday morning so that I can get ready so I'd likely have to miss battalion parade.
