As a boatswain, as you go up in rank, do you get to do diffrent jobs? Like the army, once they reach a certian rank, they do admin jobs, is it the same for the navy, and specifically the boatswain?

That was going to be my question last week. :). Ya, a teacher i told said, "Why would you want to do a sily thing like that?" I wonder why does the military get disaproved alot? In my view anyways (My dad for one...)

Can anyone direct me to any videos on the Navy training? What they do in there? Because I know the Army has some on you tube. If not, what do Boatswains do in training?
