Feel free to PM, I appreciate any information I can get.
From what I've heard(mostly from the pilot project podcast), it's roughly 50% your CFAST score, then the other 50% is split between CFAT and interview. So congrats on the good CFAST score, that's a big part out of the way.
Honestly no...
I like to avoid specifics to retain anonymity, but I doubt that matters too much by this point so I'll provide some.
I just got word that RMC is working on an early offer for an AEC spot for me. I was told my application looks very good for piloting, but there are just so many applicants and...
huh, that's frustrating. You've got the bulk of it behind you though, hopefully, your CFEME results follow a timeline similar to Pillower's so you can make it in time.
yeah, that's very weird. I've been surprised at how inconsistent the timelines can be between people and CFRCs. I'm sure you've called them already but I've found that usually helps. There's been a couple of times where a 30-second call got my file out of a month or two of inactivity.
Also, did you guys get an email or confirmation regarding your CFEME results? I spoke with a recruiter who said I passed, but for some reason, I would feel a lot better with some concrete proof.
Not sure if I understand the question entirely, but hopefully, the following is the answer you're looking for.
I did the CFAST around early December and received an email with the available CFEME dates about 2 weeks later. I ended up going to CFEME just under 2 months after the CFAST.
Sorry for...
Essentially the same thing happened to me, weird. Maybe the CFRC slipped up a bit, that's happened with other parts of the process.
Thanks again for the information. Congratulations on the results, best of luck!
For the speed distance time ones, yes and no. There's one that's general math questions where you use paper and there's some speed distance time ones there. The main SDT one is only mental math though.
Only during some stages of the test. They'll let you know. If you like to use paper, just make sure to keep it neat. A peer and I both agreed that we rushed and used up more space than necessary while working on paper.
The biggest thing for me was thinking in terms of miles per minute. Say...
Sounds like you're on the right track then. One thing I forgot to mention is eating well and exercising a good amount. I'm not great at that normally but in the weeks leading up to testing I found running helped quite a bit with thinking and stress management.
Best of luck, happy new year.
Sorry for the delay, but what Flux recommended is your best bet. Definitely look over the RAF CBAT page and do the SDT and fuel calculations in the CBAT APP if possible. That reddit thread is a great resource, but don't feel you have to do everything there. Just do exercises in things you feel...

Can anyone tell me how similar the values on this site are to the actual CFAST calculations? They seem a lot simpler than what I've been led to believe the CFAST contains.
