"Video gaming is like a non-financial kind of gambling from a psychological point of view," said Griffiths, a distinguished professor of behavioural addiction at Nottingham Trent University. "Gamblers use money as a way of keeping score whereas gamers use points."

Ya, those video gamers -- they're crazy!  Not like the people who can't escape Army.ca (especially the politics threads, even knowing what it does to the blood pressure).   :nod:


..... and for one  site member, I can't help but notice they specified video games, but excluded old-school pinball addiction....   :whistle:
