West Point grad make MLB debut - as a Toronto Blue Jay
« on: August 13, 2017, 12:52:12 »
1LT Chris Rowley, of the IRR, made his major league baseball debut on Saturday, pitching 5 1/3 innings and collecting the win in a 7-2 Blue Jay victory over the Pittsburgh Pirates.

Does anyone have any info on his military background? I'm guessing that he's a gunner of some sort, as he was initially posted to Fort Sill.

Gunner or ADA. He deployed to Bulgaria as part of ATLANTIC RESOLVE, the counter-Russian aggression mission. He's still in the US Army Ready Reserve as well.
