I have a contact that might be able to help you. They do PLARs for health services (prior learning assessment report) and recruiting for reserves. They may be able to answer whether or not your 2 year course would be acceptable. Try reaching out to Lt(N) Hanson at laen.Hanson@forces.gc.ca. Good...
So you want to work at Cadet Camp instead of attending camp? And you want to know if this will affect your application to RMC?
Only you can decide whether it will be worth it.
As for RMC, many many many candidates will not have any cadet camp or cadet experience. There is no requirement to do...
Will the accelerated version give you a Bachelor in Nursing at the end? If yes, it should be OK, but typically your summers as an ROTP candidate are used for BMOQ and other courses you will need.
I only mentioned the commuting allowance as a thing that exists for reservists. O did also state to go to the OR to check eligibility. Travel assistance is a thing to but neither of these things are things I’m an expert in hence the advice to go to the orderly room to check requirements and...
That’s what I meant by pay your gas. I do know they pay your mileage, it’s not a reimbursement. It is a set rate based on where you are leaving from to CFLRS. I only brought it up because someone mentioned CFLRS.
Reservists do have access to a commuting allowance depending on where they live...

If it says selected, anywhere up to 2 weeks to receive your offer. Longer than that and they either have the wrong contact info for you, or they are just having a hard time reaching you. After 2 weeks I would reach out to the CFRC and ask.
You will likely leave with just about everything that was issued to you, and anything you are missing and needed for RMC will get reissued to you when you get there. Not that you get to keep any of them for life, you will be returning everything that is not considered "next to skin" when you...
It actually sounds like it hasn't changed that much in the last 15 years. 6 bad swipes and you were recoursed, and good swipes are a thing but they don't cancel out the bad ones.

Unless you tell your CFRC that you want to drive, they should either fly you from Toronto or put you on a train to Montreal. From there there is a shuttle bus to take you to St Jean.
And that's the caveat/exception I'm referring to. The member has to be available, but if the CAF cancels the course on them or they get injured and can't go on course, it is not held against them.
