Leave entitlement on being posted
« on: January 13, 2017, 22:42:31 »
When you are posted I just want to confirm you are entitled to 5 days. 3 for pack, load and clean at origin of move and then two days at destination for unload and unpack. Or is it five days on both locations? I know in leave policy manual it gives gaining and losing unit CO the ability to give three for move and two for administration. Some input in clarification would be greatly appreciated.

You found the manual and your entitlements, you're good to go. What clarification do you need?

Just making sure that it is 5 days at both origin and destination(making it 10 total) or is it 5 days total for both?

5 days on either side of the move. 3 days admin gaining and losing unit, 2 days for your HG&E gaining and losing unit. It's all in Annex B Table 1 of the leave manual.

Key caveat is that its a move outside your geographical area.

Thanks that helps a lot. If I go IR then it is two days admin on both sides I am entitled to?
